As a locally owned, family company, Tri-City knows that we live where we work and our responsibility to reduce our impact on the environment and communities is as important as producing work for which we can be proud. We have taken steps to be Green including:

· Recycling 100% of all the asphalt we remove from projects each year and using it again in our mix designs
· Recycling 100% of the concrete we remove from projects each year to create new gravel we use on projects every day
· Utilizing used oil whenever possible to run through our burners on our hot-mix plants reducing the demand for new oil
· Faithful monitoring of our plants and operations to comply with environmental regulations and meet the requirements of monitoring agencies
· Participant in the U.S. Forest Service Stewardship Incentive Program, including the planting of over 50,000 trees on a single gravel pit site alone
